Making an impact in your life can only happen if the things you hear, the things you read and the things you see are understandable to you.  Sometimes it’s confusing because every author has a different life experience and background than the reader.  Most authors presume their audience is capable of understanding what they write, or might even boast that the reader who can’t understand what they read needs to take reading lessons…or just go away.

I skipped my post earlier today because I spent the day doing a regroup.  I got confused and distracted about something.  Maybe you can relate.

I was asking myself the question, “How can I get you to care about what I think is important?”

What do you love to do when you’re not working?

I was asked a question today that I need to answer.  My thoughts might be fun for you to reflect on also.  The question, “What do you and your family love to do when you’re not working?”

The simplest answer…  We love to visit the ocean.  Charleston, South Carolina is one of the favorite places we returned to a number of times.

Now that the kids are grown, some of our favorite gatherings revolve around family reunions.  My youngest daughter pointed out that next year might be a very good time to plan our next family reunion.

Our family reunions revolve around times when all of my siblings are in the same country at the same time.  My youngest sister is a full-time resident of Mexico where she and her family have been missionaries for the last seven years.   Now that our kids are growing up, getting all the kids and their spouses together becomes even more challenging.

Today I’m celebrating.  I couldn’t be happier, because today I celebrate the one-year anniversary of a very memorable night.  You might think it is the one-year anniversary of something very special.  Indeed it is!  Some people celebrate their birthday today.  Several of my friends celebrate their birthday today.  It makes remembering the exact date much easier.  You might think this is the celebration of a new relationship.  In many ways, this is true.
