Easter is all about redemption. Redemption is something many do not feel a need for. We like to think we can handle everything life throws at us by ourself … on our own. We somehow think we are “self made” people. On the surface, it sometimes appears to be true.

We need redemption not because of what we do or something we have done. We need redemption because of who we are. We cannot be redeemed by something we do or have done. The only way to redemption is to become someone new.

There is something refreshing about knowing you can’t do everything by yourself…and that you don’t have to.
