<\/a><\/p>\nToday I’m celebrating.\u00a0 I couldn’t be happier, because today I celebrate the one-year anniversary of a very memorable night.\u00a0 You might think it is the one-year anniversary of something very special.\u00a0 Indeed<\/span> it is!\u00a0 Some people celebrate their birthday today.\u00a0 Several of my friends celebrate their birthday today.\u00a0 It makes remembering the exact date much easier.\u00a0 You might think this is the celebration of a new relationship.\u00a0 In many ways, this is true.<\/p>\n Exactly one year ago… the moment I write this… I was in an ambulance riding to the hospital, alive.\u00a0 My car was in ruins, totally destroyed by collisions with two different large vehicles.\u00a0 Then, the Firemen ripped off the driver’s door of my car so I could get out.\u00a0 You can take a look at what was left of my car and imagine how much worse things could have been.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n T-Boned in the driver’s door.\u00a0 The car crunched as far as it could go without more serious injuries to me.\u00a0 I’m very thankful the drivers were not going even one mile per hour faster.<\/p>\n Instantly, things were not okay.\u00a0 A few moments before, I was doing my regular workout at the gym.\u00a0 Now, I was not okay.\u00a0 Both my arms were instantly numb.\u00a0 I thought I suffered serious neurological damage.\u00a0 Internally I was freaking out\u2026.\u00a0 My phone was forever lost that night.\u00a0 It turns out, I was driving and talking on the phone.\u00a0 \u00a0I am thankful I was driving and talking on the phone for two reasons.\u00a0 First, I believe my arm would have been much more severely injured if I was driving normally.\u00a0 My normal driving position would have pinned my arm between the steering wheel and the crushed door\u2026causing compound fractures.\u00a0 Second, the person I was talking with on the phone contacted my son and told him there had been an accident.\u00a0 My sons met me at the hospital and made sure I was okay.\u00a0 Thank you Byron and Chris!<\/p>\n And I celebrate!<\/p>\n You might think it strange that I call this a Nightcap.\u00a0 You see, it came at the end of several other events in my life.\u00a0 My job was outsourced. \u00a0I became unemployed for the first time in my life. \u00a0Unexpected and uninsured medical expenses. \u00a0“Mr. Watts, can you write a check to the hospital for thirty-thousand dollars?” \u00a0Real Estate Business failure and the loss of several houses.\u00a0 A spouse with severely broken ankle and later broken hip and my son in a serious ATV accident on the next day.\u00a0 Several business related lawsuits.\u00a0 Loss of a lot of money.\u00a0\u00a0 Divorce. \u00a0…and, a smashed up car and broken wrist.<\/p>\n Having my car destroyed could have been a breaking point for me.\u00a0 The Nightcap of many bad things.\u00a0 Some people give up.\u00a0 Even some of my friends suggested that my life story sounded like the person in the Bible named Job.<\/p>\n Instead of a Nightcap of many bad things, I celebrate the Nightcap of many significant choices in my life!<\/p>\n At each major event, each trial, each trauma, I celebrate the intentional decision, the commitment to be Better instead of Bitter.\u00a0 The decision and commitment to grow through the panic, trials and pain so that I can help someone else through their struggles.\u00a0 I made the commitment to find and develop systems to win and to help others do the same, much faster than I was able to.<\/p>\n When the job as outsourced, it took some time to adjust and figure out what to do.\u00a0 I needed a mentor who could help me\u2026but I didn’t understand at that time how disconnected and unsupported I actually was.\u00a0 It took several additional traumas before I was able to understand and identify what was going on.<\/p>\n Fortunately, I was able to find and develop the systems to help others who are going through struggles. \u00a0Systems to help those who know they want Bigger and Better instead of quitting, getting Bitter or settling for mediocre in their life.<\/p>\n Celebrating the Nightcap and Our Decision To Win!<\/p>\n Bigger and Better.\u00a0 We Can Do It Together\u2122.<\/strong><\/p>\n Look forward to more helpful information and celebration in the next few days!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Today I’m celebrating.\u00a0 I couldn’t be happier, because today I celebrate the one-year anniversary of a very memorable night.\u00a0 You might think it is the one-year anniversary of something very special.\u00a0 Indeed it is!\u00a0 Some people celebrate their birthday today.\u00a0 Several of my friends celebrate their birthday today.\u00a0 It makes remembering the exact date much … Continue reading The Nightcap Part 1 – Celebration<\/span> <\/a><\/p>\n
